Crews battle forest fire just outside Ely
ELY, Minn. (AP) — A forest fire that broke out Thursday afternoon threatened the northeastern Minnesota town of Ely, and officials ordered the evacuation of the southeast corner of the community. Blake and I ran up north for a few hours after work and got into some nice sunnies, like this one. I did well using Northland Tackle's new Impulse "Tapeworm" stuck on the end of a small aberdeen hook, with no sinker.
